Anglia Ruskin University has launched new courses to meet the demand of the booming IT sector in London and the South East. The courses, which will be run from its Chelmsford campus, include BSc (Hons) Software Development, MSc Cloud Computing and MSc Cyber Security.

A report by independent job site CV-Library shows there were 893 IT jobs for graduates in January this year, the third highest behind education (1,139) and engineering (1,204).

Computing and computing science were the most sought-after degrees.
