ESSEX Chambers of Commerce is the first UK chamber to become a strategic partner of the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE).

The partnership will be launched formally at Essex Chambers’ biannual International Trade Forum on Monday at Portcullis House, Westminster, hosted by Witham MP Priti Patel, Minister of State, Department for Work and Pensions.

Jacqueline Minor, head of European Commission Representation in the UK and other Members of the European Parliament and representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps in London are set to attend.

The event will give business delegates and panelists the opportunity to discuss the issues regarding business in Europe, including key themes such as Europe’s global competitiveness and the Evolving Europe Report on EU reform for business.
